When you have to get married before your Italy destination wedding, you do a city elopement at the History museum with your closest friends and family. Literally, Meghy and Justin were leaving a few days later to Italy for their wedding but needed to officially elope in the states beforehand. I was so pumped when Meghy contacted me to photograph their elopement at the Buffalo History Museum.
Even though it was a super quick ceremony, it was filled with 10 of their closest family and friends. Both Meg and Justin are super sweet people and we captured some photos before and after their short ceremony. This kind of elopement really makes me love the simplicity of getting married without all the things from a traditional wedding day! Her Italian wedding sounded amazing! When Meg got back she said she’s so glad that I got the photos from the elopement beforehand!
My favorite part was the photos we took before the ceremony outside and inside of the museum. Flash photos are super popular right now but these were SO fun to do with them. The inside of the museum was the perfect setting for a moody flash shoot! I feel like I was able to get creative with the both of them even though I only was shooting for about 45 minutes! It went by super fast but came out really nice and I truly love the way my edits look!
