Jess & Corey’s Hotel Lafayette wedding was such a freakin’ blast. I loved everything about this wedding, and this couple was so much fun and easy to be around! It’s so important to me that my couples and I get along super well if they choose me as their wedding photographer. After all, your photographer is the vendor you’ll spend the most amount of time with! With our further ado, here’s the story behind Jess & Corey’s big day.
Jessica & Corey // Hotel Lafayette Wedding
It was a breath of fresh air being able to finally be reunited with Jess & Corey for their wedding day. We had an engagement session together back in early 2019, pre-Covid! They wanted to wait quite some time before getting married to make sure their day would be everything they wanted. Even though they had to postpone because of Covid, they were so good about it and knew that their time would come. Word of advice to couples getting married: never settle for less for your big day! If that means waiting until you know everything will be perfect, then so be it. Or if that means eloping in the forest just the two of you, then so be it!
Jess & Corey have been together since high school, so it was amazing to see them finally be able to commit their love to each other with their closest friends & family. They’ve committed themselves to each other in so many other ways, so to see them finally married was such a special moment! Both of their families felt the same exact way, too. Everyone celebrated J & C like they had also been at the edge of their seats waiting for their wedding.
Their day was worth the wait
On quite possibly the coldest day in November, Jess and Corey’s wedding finally arrived. Although it was freezing, they were such good sports and we were able to get some amazing photos! They had a total of 22 people in their wedding party, which was such a fun experience for everyone involved. All their friends were so kind and nice, and I genuinely had such an amazing time hanging out with everyone. I loved how easygoing J & C were, because we were able to get super creative and they were down for whatever I suggested. I always value when couples trust me and my expertise, because I truly want the absolute best photos for you to look back on.
